Import graphics bug

I’ve been importing some very small icons, seeing how they look, making small modifications and importing again.

Inconsistently (sometimes it behaves this way, sometimes it doesn’t) the revised version doesn’t come in. When this happens, not only do I need to delete the old version completely, I also have to change the name of the graphic I’m importing. Even after it’s deleted, the old version still persists. Not always, but most of the time.

Servoy R2 2.1 build 310
Java version 1.4.2 05-b04 WinXP Professional

After reimporting a media does the preview in the media import dialog show the correct image.

No, shows the old image.

In the meantime I’ve deleted the old image by the old image name from Servoy totally. I then renamed the GIF file and imported again. This time it came in correctly.

The following may be related, or may not. Yesterday I needed to migrate my solution from my PC to my Mac laptop. Bob Cusick told me which files to copy over. In doing so I discovered for the first time the Servoy.Properties file on the PC is actually called Servoy.Properties.bak. Don’t know why that is or for how long it’s been that way.

Servoy only loads a file called servoy.properties an editor application may have created a .bak(up copy file)

Issues of migrating our solution from a PC to a Mac were resolved by revising a single line in the Designer section of the Servoy prefs. Much thanks for your excellent support.
