Hello,

I keep getting this message when I try to install :

"org.firebirds.jdbc.FBSQLException: Resource exception.
Unable to complete network request to host "localhost".
Reason: Unable to complete network request to host "Localhost".

Can not connect to the repository server specified in the application preferences "

The message appears after 40 minutes or so.

The first time I didn't restart after the install. OK, I did a restart, removed the Servoy folder, installed again, did a restart. Same result.
Removed the databases and the properties file (see elsewhere in this forum). Installed again. Same result.
The third time I did an uninstall. Installed again. Same result.

What is wrong ?

Is the user you are installing as an admin user?
Can you check if your localhost is resolving correctly? In some cases that can cause problems.
Can you try to install Servoy as a different user?
