Can anyone help me pls, with this SERIOUS PROBLEM:
After a backup / restore of my webserver i tried to re-install servoy with the windows exe installer
but it "hangs"on step 11 of 11. (5.2.6)
A new download of latest version 5.2.8 gives me the same error

It gave me a warning of (canceled) previous install. But my taskmanager did not indicate so. So i resumed the installation
It really hangs ? Or is it just busy ?
Also you say you get the same error. What error is this ?
Not sure if it helps but have but have you tried the .jar installer instead?
in that step the database is created and filled, so yes that takes some time, it should finish

For the 1st part. : I left it running for a complete night. the next day is was still busy.
So my cunclusion was that it is indeed a “hang up”.
I do wonder though about it because - with taskmgr process is running but CPU usage is zero!
I will try to activate the jar instead

I downloaded the jar installer - now i get same warning as above - BUT is does install servoy_5.2.8!
Unfortunately - here’s my second problem:
No connection to PostGres Database (red crosses in the icons of “Database Servers”)
A sort of firewall / network problem?
