LDAP - Active Directory

Hi All

I need basic functionality like checking username, password in connection with an Active Directory. I am wondering if this can be done with some programming? Anyone having done that? What programming languages would be possible?

It does what you want and a little bit more on Open LDAP, Apple’s implementation of Open LDAP, Active Directory etc.
