We have some customers who are running their servers on premise and using names like ‘http://iplbpc01.ipl.intern/’.

When we export the NG Desktop, we can use that name for the application-url, but when we try to use the name for the update location, we only get an error message “Invail URL: http://iplbpc01.ipl.intern/updates/latest.yml”.

For now we switched to the IP-Addres and that works. Is there a special check in place for the update location? Can we somehow still use the name incase the admin moves the servers around?
