For Windows when creating the installer (Export Solution → NG Desktop Export) there is a field called “NG Desktop Size”.
That’s the initial windows size for the NG Desktop.
For Mac & Linux you can’t for now (those properties are not exposed).
Hi Marian,
thanks for this tip
During deleopment of the solution there is no way to fix the size?
Thanks
Ralf
Dear all,
has any of you find a solution here ?
I set the properties as described but with no effect. I am on Windows
Can anybody help ?
Best regards

Hello,
On exit, the Ng Desktop client, is saving it’s last window size and position. Reopening it will use the last windows size and position used previously (before exit). This is the designed behavior regardless the exported solution or under development.
When exporting NG Desktop, you can set the initial window size. During development, you can manually resize the window and move to the desired position; these will be used on the next start.
So I’m not sure I’ve understand. Have you set the “NG Desktop Size” fields when exporting the solution? Is that not worked for you?
Please provide more details
Thank you
Hi Marian,
many thank for your quick reply i really appreciate your support !
To explain the situation i am facing more in details:
I am talking about the behaviour on the exported NG Desktop (export solution → NG Desktop Export).
I would like to have the exported NG Desktop to start in full creen mode. So when exporting it, i set the NG Desktop Size to 1920 Width and 1080 Height.
After export, i install the client on my Windows desktop. However, when start the application, it neither goes to full screen (i have 1920 x 1080 screen solution)
nor to the 1920 x 1080 screen size.
In fact, when changing the NG Desktop Size parameters to other value, it does not seems to effect the behaviour of the exported solution.
That is the situation i am facing now.
As said earlier, i am very much appreciate any help.
Best regards

Hi Nam,
There is a difference between a maximized window, a custom sized window and a full screen window. There are diferent api’s for each of this state.
Currently we have support only for saving/restore the windows size. Saving/restoring/starting in full screen / maximized window are feature not yet implemented. But they may be added.
Can you please open a case for them?
Thank you
Marian
Many thanks Marian for the clearification.
I will create a case for this.
Many thanks
Nam
