No license or trial license available message

We are having an issue when users access smart client solutions in 3.5.7. They sometimes get a message that says “no license or trial license available”. We have plenty of licenses and they sometime get this even though they are the only one logged on. Any suggestions on what is causing this?

Any web clients, headless clients, pdf forms clients, batch processes running?

I assume that you checked Servoy admin when this happened?

Yes. No clients connected, but the admin shows our licenses…

i saw same kind of issues when a microsoft loopback adaptor was configured.
disabling it resolved the issue.
Created 2 cases for them.
