When I click on dataproviders, the window on the left (that normally lists the tables) says “loading” forever. I have re-installed Servoy but that did not help.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Bruce

What db platform and version of Servoy? I had this problem for a while and it disappeared coincident with two changes: release of 2.2rc8 (or 9; don’t remember which) and changing from Microsoft’s JDBC driver to the free jdts driver. Haven’t tried to nail down which change was responsible (if either) for things starting to work.
Servoy Developer
Version R2 2.2-build 328
Java version 1.4.2-50 (Mac OS X)
I have noticed this occurring more over the last two releases - hard to recall exactly !
However, I believed that I have tracked the behaviour to where Servoy was being very sympathetic to missing database servers and was not going to display the database list when one or more was missing !!
So my Server list consists of:
So if my interent connection is down or I am off network then I have noticed it happen because I cannot get to MySQL or MS SQL databases
Also noticed it when my MySQL server has been powered down and then, when it was switched on and I tried again, the dataprovider list was back almost instantly !!
Cheers
