I’ve now been able to resolve the “cannot connect to repository specified in application preferences” error, however, now, nothing willopen… I keep getting “errors/warnings in relations” “can’t load form” . Is this now beyond repair ?

What do the logs say?
Check your db servers, are these correct and is the data still in the right databases (use your db-vendor-tool or something like squirrel to check your tables)?
