Offline Client and Synchronisation

Hi all,

Has anybody finished working on an implementation of an ‘offline client’ yet ?

Am interested in anything either anecdotal or real experience.

Do have a client who I am looking to create a Servoy solution for where they are predominantly out of office.

They mostly have access to some sort of internet connection but for those things like travelling, or simply being somewhere where they do not have any LAN/WAN access they have requested the ability to enter data offline and synchronise at a later point in time.

So, to sumarise:
Offline client with synchronisation to Server based solution
Issues with using Sybase ‘MobiLink’ to sync with MySQL backend
Looking for some background information and gotchas should it come to having to set this up

Thanks for posting that question. I’m also interested in that issue and an in the defining stage of a new project that would benifit from this.
