I have a potential job that requires off line data entry and later syncing, I know this is possible with the mobile client, but is there a feature for this in the NG Client ?

Hi Gordon,
NG-client is as all other clients an online solution.
In case of NG-client the communication to the server is depending on web-sockets.
So in case of an partially offline mobile client, you should go the mobile way.

Thanks for the reply that is what I suspected which is a pity as the information would require a bit more than the mobile options. I will have another look at it and see how critical this feature is to the job.
