Printer Compatability Question

Hey guys,

Wasn’t sure where to put this, but I figured maybe this is the place. I have a solution where I’m printing 4x6 tags on a printer from Zebra (Z4Mplus). It’s a thermal transfer setup onto heavy card stock. In any case, there is a short description field that gets cut off at the same spot on every tag and every time. I’ve adjusted the size of the form, the field, tried shrinking and growing, not shrinking and growing, just about everything. Always at the same spot the cut off occurs.

Interestingly enough, if I print to PDF or another printer, it comes out fine. So, I’m just wondering if this is a matter of the Zebra printer not being able to play with Servoy, or am I missing a setting somewhere with in Servoy?

Any and all input is greatly appreciated.

Adam

PS - On a different note, how can I get data to word wrap when I using it as a label or button? It seems to just want to stay on one line.

I know the answer to this one but not the other question. Use HTML for any label or dialog that you want to show as multi-line.

Is print preview showing fine? (page margin correct?)
(if so than it is likely not related to Servoy, try different font, check for update of printer driver)

After running some more tests, I feel it’s definitely a printer/printer driver issue, not Servoy. I printed to two other printers just fine. Thanks for the feedback guys.
