Hello,
when i create a PDF with the latest PDF plugin (Servoy v. 3.5.3) it is not possible for me to print the PDF. The printer produces a PostScript error or crashes. In these PDFs I can see that they were generated by iText 2.0.2 (Iowagie.com).
If I install the PDF plugins which came with Servoy v. 3.1.7 there is no problem (PDF has been generated by itext-paulo - build 130).
Could you please fix this bug.
Thanks in adcvance.
Christoph
So the PDF is created, it can be opened by a 3rd party viewer, but printing it fails with an error.
Do you get any details from that error?
Can you try printing that PDF to another printer?
Hello,
yes, the PDF looks fine but it is not possible to print. On several HP-Printers, on a KonicaMinolta with PostScriptLevel 3 there was no way to print the PDF.
Following PostScript error occurs:
ERROR: limitcheck
OFFENDING COMMAND: gsave
STACK:
/RelativeColorimetric
Greetings

Considering that you tried 3.5.3 with the old iText plugin and it worked, I will have to ask iText about this problem.
I might need the PDF file that generates this error.
I can see the difference between the two pdf files you sent… And the problem can be reproduced if you use an image on the form.
Not sure yet what causes this problem. Initially I thought it happens because of too many XObject nested in the PDF, but it is not that.
Please add this issue to the support system for further investigation:
Thank you.
