I am having problem installing Servoy Developer in new Windows 7 64-bit laptop. This is the error message:
“This directory cannot be written! Please choose another directory!” (See attachment)
I have already tried to install Servoy in other locations. The message is the same.
Servoy 5.0 developer now supports 64bit on windows, but have anybody seen this before?
I don’t think that this matters, but I’ve tried to install Servoy using the .jar file instead than the windows installer (.exe)
Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem, and lanched the installation with run as Administrator rights and it was OK.
Try downloading the exe version of Servoy installation and then you’ll be able to run as Administrator with a right click on the install program
If you’re not admin easiest is to install in your home directory.

You guys rock! I haven’t tried it, but I am sure that the “run as Administrator rights” option will definitely work! It’s 2:40 AM here. I’ll try it tomorrow.
Thanks!
This will be fixed in next Servoy 5 release to work as for Vista ( if UAC is active ask for rights, else will silently install as admin).
