Don’t think that the Servoy version above has a bearing on this issue…however always good to mention it :
Started doing some collaborative work recently where I created the DB schema and base forms in a solution and then exported this detail to file and sent it to developer ‘B’
Developer ‘B’ then created some further forms for the LAF and added some base logic and then he exported to file and sent it back to me.
I tried to import this solution expecting it to become a new version of the original solution but it refused, saying that a solution named ‘xxx’ already existed and I had to import under a new name and this has now gone on over several separate versions !
The DB Server name and the DB name itself and the solution name were the same in all cases and for both developer parties involved.
Anybody tell me the obvious mistake or the obvious miconstruing of how versioning works that I am making so I can go beat myself with twigs !
What am I missing here ? - take care before you reply as I am in sensitive mode !
