Servoy 4.0 final doesn't commit?

Hi,

I’ve installed 4.0 final on the server, after have successfully imported my solution I had a few errors and warnings which I’ve solved.
After committing the solution I’ve installed 4.0 on another computer and pointed to the solution on the server… and guess what! All errors and warnings are back again.

Could it be possible that it didn’t commit? :shock:

Hi,

if the commit cannot be done, you should see an error message, usual
this is happening when there are conflicts on the files you want to commit;

what kind of errors/warrnings do you have ?

The error/warnings where minor problems like an unresolved onShow event that has to be -none- but was empty.

But all of them are solved according my solution on the server.

When I committed it, none error message was shown. If I synchronize it says that both copies are the same.

can you try this : create a new workspace on your local machine (rename your existing workspace so you can reuse it after the test), and checkout that solution, and see if you have the warnings/errors

I can’t understand how it happens. I’ve installed 4.0 on the second machine after I’ve committed the solution. The only thing I did now is restart the application_server, and create a new workspace.

I can’t imagine that we have to restart the server each time we commit! :shock:

the server should not be restarted after each commit, of course, if you will see this issue again (commit on one side is not reflected to other clients) please fire a case in our support system, and also upload the solution in case, if that is possible
