I can get Servoy 3.1 running on Mac OSX 10.4
to appear as a client in on a 10.5 Mac
But not Servoy 3.1 running on Mac OSX 10.5
to appear as a client on a 10.4 Mac
It just sticks on the starting application window.
Any ideas or is it just the different Java versions
not working?
Same thing happens with 3.5
Mac Book Pro OSX 10.5
Servoy 3.5.2 / 3.1.7
Did you try with Java 1.5? If you have 1.5 on your Mac (and you have it by default), you can set the version with the help of a utility called “Java Preferences.app” in the Folder /Applications/Utilities/Java/J2SE\ 5.0/
Make sure you read exactly because it differentiates between Java Applet Runtime Settings and Java Application Runtime Parameters.
Drag in the lower part the J2SE 5.0 to the top position.
Hope that helps, Robert
PS: As Servoy says (see your sreeenshot) Java 5, i. e. version 1.5 is recommended for Java Web Start.

yes both machines have J2SE 5.0 set
Unfortunatly I have not 10.5.x installed now so I can’t compare it. If you are an Apple developer, you should look at your ADC account, in Java download section.

seems to suggest that Servoy 3.5 Client doesn’t work on Intel Macs
is that correct?
Also the “Trust” warning screens are different.
Is that correct?
