Java for Mac OS X 10.4, Release 6

Can anyone confirm if
Java for Mac OS X 10.4, Release 6
which came out last week.

Works with Servoy 3.1 (both as client and as a Server)

I realise it won’t work with 3.5 as that requires Java 6 on the Server.
(different thing from release 6)

Works fine with 3.1 and 3.5. 3.5 does not require java 6.

yes,
the New Mac 10.4 Java upgrade works for
Servoy 3.1.7 on Mac OSX 10.4.11

I also installed Java 6 Preview 8
on a 10.5.1 Mac and got Servoy 3.5.3 working
as a Server to a client on a 10.5.1 Mac,
but it didn’t work as a client on a 10.4.11 Mac.

I did previously try without Java 6 Preview 8,
but without success (see my previous posts)

Unfortunately we can’t comment on Java 6 for Mac, officially it doesn’t exist and Apple’s NDA’s are pretty strict.
