I noticed that the startup speed of the client with the c5 version is ok. But… The developer starts up very slow and loads the solution much slower than the client… (even when the client is started up for the first time)!

It is correct that developer launches slower than client. Client also has lower requirements than developer has. Developer is a very different application than Client, it includes three applications in one and has to do much more than a client to enable you to develop.
Odd, it takes exactly 10 seconds for developer to start up on OS X for me…
