We’ve discovered an issue with SQL Anywhere 11.0.1 that causes the database server to crash on a Mac equipped with the new Intel Core i7 processor. We’re in the process of implementing a fix and hope to release it soon as an EBF. I will update this post when that happens.
Please note that SQL Anywhere 10 is not affected by this issue and works properly with the Intel Core i7 chip. Thank you.
Is that the i7 as found in the iMac or the one in MacBook Pro?
I filed the original bug report based on my MacBook Pro with the i7. I’m not sure about any of the other i7 processors, but definitely doesn’t work on MacBook Pro
This was fixed with EBF #2449. Note that the EBF download is a full install of SQL Anywhere. For those of you on mac, you can just download this file and replace the sybase_db in your <Servoy_Install>/application_server.
