Has anybody ever tried to connect Servoy with a 4D database, using the jdbc:fourd driver?
I can’t figure out where I go wrong…
can you show me docs how to use the driver? (what the url should be ect)
And what error do you get?
The URL should be: jdbc:4d:IPnr:portnr (typically 19813)
The driver’s name is: com.fourd.jdbc.DriverImpl
The Error message is:
com.fourd.jdbc.DatabaseMetaDataImpl: Method getDatabaseProductVersion is not implemented
hmm if on that call already comes with such an error then i hope this will not be one of many…
I did add some checks for that now in 2.1RC5/Final.

Hereby is sent you a copy of the 4D JDBC, including documentation. Maybe it is of any help for later?
How doesn’t it help you?
With RC5/Final of 2.1 it will go further, it will not throw that error.
Looking for the JAR.
