unable to start runtime on MAC OS X

Hi,

We have developed a solution on Win 2000 and created Windows runtime runtime. This works fine on XP, Win 2000 & Win2003.

Created a Mac runtime version.Copied the runtime folder into MAC OS X laptop.

But getting error message "Can’t connect to the database server’ ’

Please email the solution in compressed format (by zipping it) to our support deptmt. at support@servoy.com

Was there a solution for this problem??

Have developed solution on XP and built runtime for OSX ( 10.2.8 ) but will not load.

Can see the steaming coffee cup from read.html file, have manually copied db (and log file) to runtime/database folder - and tried copying/renaming the dbeng9 file as http://www.forum.servoy.com/viewtopic.p … ht=runtime

Only get to the ServoyRuntimeStarter screen - after about 30 secs get an error box with “Error” in title, no message and an OK button. Clicking OK brings the Error box up again - clicking OK again removes box.

Thanks in advance

Any news on this one? I need to know how to make runtimes work on both platforms, preferably from a single developer

Hi Antonio

Have you tried the runtimes on OSX? From memory I think the problem was fixed in next release of Servoy after my post last year. Haven’t built any recently but I know they were working.

I did, but it’s not quite right.
See Runtime error: Can't connect to Server on Mac OSX - Classic Servoy - Servoy Community

Part of my trouble is getting server to stop after doing a build.
