Using "Checkout" after importing solution from version 3.5

I imported the main solution from ver 3.5 with no noticeable errors, went to “All soultions” selected "CheckOut. Located my freshly imported solution…selected it, all I have now is a window titled "checkout .

In the window is shows Checkout ‘solution’
then
a stopwatch pic followed by ‘solution’ (Waiting)
athe end of both lines is a red square

below on status bar, is shows in yellow 36M of 40M and the first number bounces from 35 -38. This has been going on for about 15 minutes now.

What does this mean?

No, after 30 minutes of waiting, I shut it down. I imported a smaller solution and it opened with coding errors, I will fix these, but as far as the one that was “Wating eternal” , it never did open

If this is reproduceable in 4.1.1 you can open a case in our crm system ( also please attach a sample to it).
