Can't checkout solution after importing to 4.1.2

Need some serious help here. Took a 3.1 solution, imported it into 3.5.9. Exported - Verified no errors. Loaded up a new 4.1.2 developer on MAC OS X. Copied over the plugins, drivers, and beans. Made sure all my db servers were set right pointing to the appropriate tables in MySql. Restarted developer. Opened web-admin and imported the solution. The respository is new. The database has the fields.

The servoy.application_server.startRepositoryAsTeamProvide: is set to Yes during the import. I do not change it.

The imported solution is there. So now - I go to developer and click on Solutions and do Checkout. I enter the localhost root and password, select the HEAD of the solution. Then I get the error box: Cannot Checkout ‘solution name’. Project with name ‘solution name’ already exist in the workspace.

No matter what I do, I can’t check this out. Is this a bug? If I start over - I clear out the repository, I clear out the workspace - and it still wont’ let me. I have created a new workspace as well - and still nothing. It doesn’t matter if I use the File | New | Project from Servoy Repository or if I use the Checkout option on the right click menu. I have the same results.

I checked every element in the server and there are no duplicate form names. I do not get any export errors when I export from 3.5.9. What am I missing? Please help!

before checkout, can you check if a project with the same name as the solution is already present in the “Project explorer” view ?

Hi - ya there is no project in the solution explorer that already exists. It’s a clean slate. We’ve cleaned out plugins that didn’t come with Servoy, used a new repository, etc.

Hi Shawn,

Try selecting a new workspace (menubar > File > Switch Workspace > Other…).
There are many hidden files involved in a workspace so try this.
