I am trying to use my Macbook Pro running Leopard with Parallels to run Windows XP.
When I run Servoy Developer 3.5.7 within Parallels (XP), all of the icons in the toolbar have a blacked out background. I have tried all screen settings (coherence, full screen, etc) and no change.
I have also tried every LAF option. It will sometimes appear to work after changing LAF, but then it reverts quickly to the black icons.
Has anyone found a solution to this?
Thanks.

Strange it works fine on my Parallels, can you try upgrading your Java? You could also consider moving to Vmware, I did and I like it more.
I figured it out. It was the Windows theme under display properties that was causing the problem.
I changed my Windows theme to Windows XP and it looks normal again. Parallels or something must have put in their own theme --mine was called “Windows XP (modified)”. Once I switched it to “Windows XP”, it straightened right up.

I lied. As soon as I opened the Editor, the icons all went black again. Argghh!!
You’re not the only one…

It’s a parallels issue. I abandoned Parallels for VMWare a long time ago, but if memory serves I fixed this in an older version of Parallels by either enabling or disabling the 3D acceleration features for the virtual machine.
I just updated Java on the parallels VM and it seems to be working. 1.6_06 didn’t work. 1.6_11 seems to work so far.
