Videos in Servoy Quick start guide do not work

Hello,

I tried in Chrome, Firefox and IE, the videos in the Servoy Quick start guide do not start.

Can you please advice (maybe there are some settings i need to do in browser), or fix the issue?

Have you got Flash installed as the QuickStart seems to rely on this :(

…possibly time for the owner to the videos to consider to purposing them to another format as dear old Flash is terminally unloved :?:

Thanks for reporting that. We had a recent server upgrade for ServoyU and it looks like it broke the embedded playback functionality. I’ll work on that today and should have it resolved shortly.

PS. Until then, you can go to http://app.servoyu.com and click on the Videos tab. Then click on Servoy 5.x in the product list. You’ll then see “Quick Start Guide” in the series. Click on that and you can see and play all the Quick Start videos.

I heard some rumors that they will be updated very soon. Perhaps Scott can comment?

Would be very nice to have the videos in servoy 8 indeed. (they still don’t work at all in the quick start guide)

Yes. Bob Cusick and I are working on them. Target is end of this month.
