web admin-tool, client shutdown

Hi there guys,

Need your help again. From the web admin tool. When I try to “boot” everyone off the system; either through shutdown/restart server or just using the “X” on the clients menu; It sometimes is ineffective. Half the clients on the system will be shut down but the other half of my client systems are still connected. Or thinks its connected. It would stay on the screen without any error messages until they try to navigate to another layout; then they get “record cannot be displayeD error” or just hangs the application.

Has other people had problems with this behaviors? please help?

And if you first sent a message to all the clients. Do they get the message?
So if you then force shutdown everything are still there some clients that has the message popup?

surprisingly, only SOME of the computeres get the message to clients. which is wierd. same for the shutdown message. any ideas?

Then those clients are loosing there server connection (or better said the other way around) thats very odd that should be reported in the client when he noticed that. What are you network settings? Do you use 2 way socket?

Can you upgrade to 2.2.7 (or 3.1) we made quite some optimizations in the network layer.

How do I check whether i’m running a 2 way socket? We’ll have to upgrade to 2.2.7 in a later date since we are running a validated system due to FDA(US. food and drug administration rules) . Hopefully, the upgrade to 2.2.7 will solve these issues.
