Changes in Preferences are not saved

Hi,
I am using a multideveloper for Servoy 3.5.7 and i am want to use the mail plugin. In order to do this, I changed the Outgoing and the Incoming mail servers from Preferences → Mail. I closed and reopened application to save the settings,but they were not saved! Fields were empty! Also if I make modifications in any other tab under Preferences, they are not saved by closing and reopening solution, like it should. Can you tell me the solution for this? Many thanks in advance!

Maybe you don’t have write privileges on the servoy.properties file or on the servoy folder or maybe you are using Vista or maybe both? If you are using Vista don’t install Servoy in the Programs folder, install it in your desktop or documents folder to be sure you don’t run into privileges problems.
