I’m a newbie, so take this for what it’s worth…
I’ve noticed that if I have a solution open, just about any change in Application preferences, from db servers to even the look and feel, cause Servoy to crash.
Perhaps the preferences shouldn’t be accessible when a solution is opened? From my experiences so far, I don’t plan to edit the preferences without closing my solutions first. Things just seem kinda “touchy” in there.
which version of servoy are you using? which platform etc.
Oh, sorry. Builds 306 & 307, on Win2K Pro.
you should be able to edit the preferences fine when a solution is loaded. I do it every time. Never heard until now that servoy just crashes then. When does it exactly happen? Do you have any log? Does the complete program really crash? (completely gone?) because that looks like jvm/os bug.
What jvm are you using on youre win2k system?

I just changed the LAF to Windows. Clicked through a few forms. “Cannot load”
I’ve attached log files for Servoy, and today’s Sybase log.
Could very well be something I’m doing wrong. Wouldn’t be the first time.
please upgrade to the final of 2.1. you are still using a beta so there could be a problem that causes that.
