I’m just beginning with Servoy and with the help of the tutorial I´m trying to create a new database and a new table: however when I click on the database, I see no command “create a new table” nor I can find it somewhere else. And the popup menu is much shorter than the one shown in the tutorial. Could you please help me? Many thanks in advance
In Solution Explorer, right-click on the desired database (under Database Servers) to expose a drop-down list. ‘Create table’ is the third item down on the list.

that’s the problem: there’s no “create a table” and this menu only has a few commands:
- open server
- duplicate server
- enable/disable server
- delete database
- cut
- copy
- paste
- serarch for references
You need to give a little more info. Presumably as a beginner you have started with the standard download from Servoy which by default would install multiple database servers such as example_data, udm, etc. and presumably this is Servoy 6.0.x. If you right click on one of those database server you will see the 'create table as the third item if you have a standard download.

you´re right: I have multiple database servers (udm, etc.) and I have Servoy 6.0.5. When I right click, there’s no “create a table”. I only see

Is the server enabled ? I.e. is the icon of that node green or is it grey ?
If it’s grey then it’s not enabled (and thus not connected to the database) and then it makes sense you can’t create any tables.

es sieht so aus, es gibt keine Verbindung zum Localhost oder zu einem repository server (“cannot get solutions from local host” und “cannot access team repository”), so dass ich überhaupt nichts machen kann. Und ich weiß im Moment auch nicht mehr, was ich machen soll…

Since you are just starting and really don’t have anything going I would just start by doing a new install. It sounds like something went wrong in the Postgres installation. I only ever choose the ‘basic’ install and it works perfectly every time on PCs and MACs. There might be way for getting it going on your current install that one of the others might be able to help you with but I’d take the path of least resistance at this point.
Whenever I right-click on database servers and try to create new database i am unable to do so…using postgres…anyhelp?
