Does anyone know of any performance or other benifits of using IBM’s JRE rather than the Sun JRE?
Would be interested to get any input!

i’ll find a recent article i read…ibm’s vm on wintel is quite slow…but that’s not its real use…it’s really for ibm-specific hardware
Also for the 0.05% of people who run LinuxPPC on Apple or PowerPC hardware, the IBM JRE is about all you can (easily) install.
