Testing Oracle JRockit with Servoy and everything seems to work fine
One question: why?
It’s a killer JVM. I’ve used it instead of SUN’s a while ago instead (when it was BEA JRockit), at the time it had better garbage collection, more optimization flags you could tune, and none of the infamous PermGenSpace errors that I was experiencing with a (non Servoy) app.
I’ve read some comments around and looks like there’s not much difference anymore, Oracle is integrating it in the new Hotspot JVM, that’s why there’s no 1.7 of JRockit.
I’m testing its perfomance. Maybe it’s so good as oracle says …
One question: why?
Why not?
