I am trying to “soften” the edges on some elements on a form. Basically, I want to use a gray shaded area behind some fields on the form, to call attention to the area.
I started out by drawing a rectangle for the area, and applying a Special Matte border that rounded the edges 10px. However, I see little black highlights on the rounded edges, when the color of the border has been set to a light gray like the background fill of the rectangle.
I don’t see the problem when using a label and applying a Special Matte border to round its edges (emulating a tab).
So, my question is, should I be using a large label as the highlighted area on the form and drop the use of a rectangle element?
