I use mostly the rounded rectangles in my interfaces, and i would like to apply a different border type, but when i do this the corners become square … is there a way around this?
I haven’t tested to see if I can reproduce the issue you report, but here’s an idea if nothing else works: create two rounded rectangles with no borders. make one a few pixels bigger and make it the color you wish the border to be. Place the smaller rectangle filled with the desired fill color on top of it. Align centers/middles & group.
that ougtta work,

To have round rectangles you have to use the Special Matte border type.
Here you can set the Rounding Radius. So in fact you have full control over how the round rectangle should look like.
Hope this helps.

Wow. Ok, so how do I erase my post?

No need to erase the post Illyse - just bask in the gratitude of all the ‘lurkers’ who - unlike Robert - also didn’t know the answer and are now grateful to you for bringing the subject up.
That’s the beauty of these Forums - one person asks and many learn.

Hmm, but shouldn’t we punish Ilyse just a little

You needn’t bother. I am a very talented self-flagillator (sp?).
