Hi
Now that the RC1 of vista is out i was wondering if anyone has had a chance to run servoy on the new OS.
Are there any incompatibilities with servoy, java, your DB? Any performace gains, losses?

Hi,
I believe Vista accepts only Java 1.6. This means running Java 1.6 with Servoy. So far I encountered problems with the JSplitPane control, which does not take anymore as Component a form (Exception is thrown, a form is not a component anymore!). As shown in the BookStudy example, now the forms should be placed in tabless tabpanels that are considered Components.
This is what I encountered so far… if you have any suggestions, or other problems… I’m interested
Best,
Adrian
Now that VISTA has arrived, do we have any more info on how Servoy runs in that environment?
I don’t have it myself yet, curious to know before making the jump.,
What would you expect from the company that claims to run on all modern operating systems?
Nothing but the best
Hi Jan
… so that means running on Mac OS X and Linux ) or are there other modern operating systems

Gonna buy me a new laptop with Vista on it…
Can I continue to develop…or do I need to wait…or use XP instead?
