Trouble with Tribble (is this a Mac issue?)

In the year or so I’ve been working with Servoy, I’ve noticed a maddening tendency for items on a form to double-paste from the clipboard onto the form, so that a second object is layered exactly behind the first one. It shows up in error messages indicating duplicate fields on the same form. Or when I try to rename an object, an error message appears indicating that the item name exists already.

Yesterday I was deleting some of the duplicates on a form, and it seems that new ones popped up as soon as the old ones were deleted(!)

Has anybody else seen this?

I’ve seen something similar but on my forms it were the tabs that were duplicated. And I’ve never figured out exactly what triggered it, but I always had the idea that it happened when I moved/rearranged the tabforms on my tabpanel. At the time I was using 6.0.x, not sure which version exactly. I haven’t noticed it yet in the 6.1.3 version I’m using now (on windows)

Yes, it was on the same windows 7 laptop.

I haven’t seen this myself.
Would be nice if you have a reproducible scenario.
When pasting you could have a look at the outline view, if the element is duplicated you should see that there.

Hi Rob,

Yes, in some cases that is how I look for (and then highlight) the duplicate field. I’m not sure how to reproduce the problem; it seems to occur at random times.
